Oviedo Cluster Hosts Florida Standards Assessment Information Night

The Oviedo Cluster will be hosting a parent night on Thursday, September 18th, at 6:30 PM, in the Oviedo High School Auditorium.  Information about the new Florida Standards Assessment will be shared.  Please mark you calendars, now!

The Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) Portal, www.fsassessments.org, is now available for districts, sc
hools, students, parents and the general public to access the information about the 2015 state assessments.  This portal will serve as the primary location for the school and district administrators to access resources for the test administration and to conduct activities related to computer-based testing, test management and reporting.  The FSA link is now on the SCPS home page in the photo slider and on Lawton's Curriculum tab.
The following resources are currently available on the portal website:
1.  Training Tests
2. Draft Test Design Summary/Blueprints
3. Draft Test Item Specifications
4. Draft Mathematics Policies and Materials
Please remember that CPALMS is the State of Florida's official source for standards information, course descriptions and standards resources.  CPALMS, www.cpalms.org, is Florida's toolbox of information, vetted resources and interactive tools that are intended to help educators effectively implement Florida's standards.
